Intelligence Backlash

With career people in the Intelligence community, feeling betrayed by the Obama administration.
There is a push back from inside the "Intelligence Community" over what seasoned professionals say is nothing less than a "Cover Up" of intelligence on terrorism in North Africa. Information obtained, but being ignored or tossed aside due to ideology or political expedience.September 11 attack on the US Consulate was no coincidence according to Mohammad AL Magarief, who claims it was the work of “experienced masterminds”.AL Magaeief spoke to Aljazeera in his first international media interview since the attack. “I think this was al-Qaeda,” referring to Tuesday’s consulate attack, which left 4 US Embassy workers and 10 Libyans dead.

Clear reports revealing Iranian support for jihadist  throughout North Africa and Middle East, as well the spread of Al-Qaeda and it's surrogates into Egypt and Libya in the months before the 9/11 terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi. There was information 3 days prior to the Benghazi attack form sources within the Egyptian Intelligence Services that there would be problems at both U.S. and Israeli Embassies thought the region.

No matter how much the Obama administration touts the demise of Al-Qaeda  and spikes the football over the death of Osama Ben laden. The intelligence does not support their wishes and dreams.

What is at hand is a lame effort at a Cover-up at the highest levels. The Professionals of our intelligence services and military are not going to jump under the Bus keep information from the American people.I would speculate those under the Bus will emerge from under the Bus with information that will stop the Bus in it's tracks.

Libya will not be the last embassy to come under attack unless the White House and State Department realizes that apologies and ignoring the threats is not a policy that will work.

I must say, Had it not been for Fox News reporting the information from it's sources this would have been a "Whitewash." With the Main Stream Media's collusion with the hdministration.we aren't out of the woods yet. The Media is still resisting any story that would make the President and his administration culpable in a Cover-up.

ASSAULT ON FREEDOM

THE UN ARMS TRADE TREATY THREAT

The month of July will see many nations in the United Nations come together to establish an International Arms Trade Treaty. The problem with this is the World body members for the most part are authoritarian and dictatorial regimes, that trample on individual freedoms. If some nations are not so radical they are at least socialist driven democracies, pushing the big government policies which diminishes it’s citizens liberty.
UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon’s remarks to the United Nations Conference on the Arms Trade Treaty in July, it gives us a flavor of the Treaty and it’s effects on our freedoms: “An agreed set of standards for arms exports, along with strict national legislation,” “We have an instrument to facilitate cooperation in tracking illicit small arms and light weapons, and we also have the United Nations Register of Conventional Arms.”

A statement issued by the Chief Negotiator for Mexico Dr. Roberto Dondisch Glowinski:

For Mexico, It is clear the objective of this treaty is to prevent misuse of weapons as a means to protect the Individual. In this sense the following are of the utmost importance.”
We cannot lose sight of the humanitarian aspect that must guide this treaty by using clear legal language as it is dictated by international law.
This treaty must cover all types of conventional weapons without differentiation on it’s supposed use. Criminals do not differentiate between weapons manufactured for shooting sport and those developed for military snipers when they intend to kill. We cannot make this different ion either.
The treaty must include regulations for parts and ammunition. ……….

One could imagine nefarious ties between the Department of Justice, The Secretary of State, ATF, The White House and other anti gun groups and foreign States who would relish the demise of our 2nd Amendment rights. All of this comes together with “Fast and Furious” an operation to flood Mexico with Arms originating from the United States. The amateurish operation formulated in the back rooms of Washington. A plot to deny the citizens of the United States liberties guaranteed by the Constitution. To further assault the freedoms of the American people by the UN Arms Treaty is the Tracing and Record Keeping provisions required by the Treaty. The following is a section from the record keeping requirements:
Excerpt from proposed treaty:

Record-keeping

11. The choice of methods for record-keeping is a national prerogative. States will ensure that accurate and comprehensive records are established for all marked small arms and light weapons within their territory and maintained in accordance with paragraph12 below in order to enable their competent national authorities to trace illicit small arms and light weapons in a timely and reliable manner.

12. From the time of the adoption of this instrument, records pertaining to marked small arms and light weapons will, to the extent possible, be kept indefinitely, but in any case a State will ensure the maintenance of:

(a) Manufacturing records for at least 30 years; and

(b) All other records, including records of import and export, for at least 20 years.

13. States will require that records pertaining to small arms and light weapons held by companies that go out of business be forwarded to the State in accordance with its national legislation.

This is just a slice of the Treaty about to be before the United Nations. If this Treaty is voted for in the United Nations backed by the Obama regime, Ratified by the Senate and we are signatories to the treaty, Our government would have successfully removed the most important part of our Bill of Rights from the Constitution.

It is best said by our first President George Washington "Firearms stand next in importance to the constitution itself. They are the American people's liberty teeth and keystone under independence … from the hour the Pilgrims landed to the present day, events, occurrences and tendencies prove that to ensure peace security and happiness, the rifle and pistol are equally indispensable … the very atmosphere of firearms anywhere restrains evil interference — they deserve a place of honor with all that's good."

"The greatest danger to American freedom is a government that ignores the Constitution."

Cold War Redux

After the fall of the Soviet Union and the breakup of the Soviet States, it seemed democracy would triumph. Ronald Regan had defeated the totalitarian regime and defeated the Russian Bear.

The new economy in the split republics, war surplus with the General’s and KGB officers reaping the fruit of Soviet excess war material. Tanks and Kalashnikovs were sold by case lot to arm’s dealers world wide for export. When this well dried up the General staff retired to lavish lives in the Black Sea cities of Gelendzhik and Sochi.

Where did the KGB (Komitet gosudarstvennoy bezopasnosti) Committee for State Security go? Many went to work world wide as security consultants, corporate spies employed by corporations and governments in the West. Some, remained in the service of the Russian government Then there were those officers in the KGB that went into politics especially those with political ambitions .

This brings us to Vladimir Putin the twice elected president of Russia with a four year stint as Prime Minister to allow him another term as President. Vladimir Putin is a experienced KGB officer serving since 1975 in post of East Germany, Leningrad and Moscow before 1991. George Bush stated “I found him (Putin) to be very straightforward and trustworthy” He could see into his soul.” The only thing I could see was beady KGB eyes. I would rather trust my pet rattle snake named "Pete" over Putin.

Now we have the weakest American President in decades and Vladimir as President of Russia. I think, I have a Cold War moment coming on, no I’m sure of it “Cold War Redux”. Barrack Obama as President and Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State this plus the fact we have Russian Generals threatening preemptive strikes in NATO countries to prevent a missile shield from being placed in Europe. President Obama assuring former President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev after the elections he will be more flexible, and to pass that on to Vladimir.

It’s difficult to watch our counties military and influence for good in the world slide of the cliff. The future visualized by Putin is a rebirth of the Soviet Union. He knows President Obama is a pushover and will take advantage of all his weaknesses, including the State department. New Russian spies are on our shores now as missions of commerce and diplomacy. So beware “Cold War Redux”

Russia with the improving economy and natural resources to swell it's military budget and a determined Ex-KGB officer as President. What do you think time to hit the Klaxons and take cover?

SMALL CALIBER DEFENSE by The Armourer

When making a choice of concealed firearms the key element is a dependable and effective weapon. There are numerous choices that meet the basic criteria, we must not forget that a choice must fit the mission or suitability for the circumstances as well,as individual comfort with the weapon. Situational awareness and training will effect the overall results.

I will just scrape the surface in this discussion of certain weapons and their acceptability. This will be a non-technical look at certain firearms with their effective use. The last line of defence is the immediate three to seven yards around your person. In this last ditch personal defense zone it is critical to mount a defense that will stop or deter the threat.

Weapons that have suffered unfair criticism form the "Paper Warriors" of the Gun Magazines are the 22LR, .25ACP and .32ACP firearms. These weapons can be as deadly as a 9MM or .45ACP it all depends on the targeted area and distance to target.

Taurus .22 cal Semi-Auto
The 22LR and .25ACP are usually the most under rated in the Mini Pocket pistol category. The 22LR such as the one pictured to the right is very concealable and as with the other small calibers it requires targeting the Head and Neck for effective stopping effect. This requirement is the same with the .25ACP pistol also pictured below. Shots must be taken within the area of the head and neck to be effective. A factor in targeting the head and neck is the fact winter clothing doesn't  impair penetration of the light projectile. Winter clothing may effect the penetration capabilities of the smaller rounds in the center mass shot.

The .32ACP weapon has the capability to penetrate better than the 22LR or 25ACP at the three to seven yard marker, so it will increase the target area to include the center mass shots. I would encourage multi-shots preferably two shots from any of the pocket pistols. Go to the range and practice two shot drills with your pocket pistol at the three and seven yard line concentrating on head and neck shots. Be familiar with your weapon as well as your capabilities with it.
All of the weapons pictured are capable of being concealed in inventive location on and around your body. My favorite is the pocket .25ACP inside the waist band holster on my belt. Well, there are many other locations and innocent containers available. It is a pocket pistol, what better place than the pocket. I find a   25ACP pocket pistol fits into the coin pocket of bluejeans with a Polo shirt to cover the grips works great.

So, the the question is would I recommend any or all of these weapons? Well it all depends on the situation.
In my experience there have been times the only weapon I could carry without arousing suspicion was a pocket pistol. I have carried at one time or another many of the pictured or similar weapons. Pocket pistols are always acceptable back-up weapons and I all ways advise when practical.

If you decide a pocket pistol is something worth considering in your personal defense arsenal, be sure to practise at the Pistol Range . The ammo is relatively inexpensive, so it won't break the bank to practice.

DEEP WATER SHALLOW COMMISSION

The Deep Water Horizon investigative team appointed by the White House only has one member with any experience even close to engineering. One thread that does weave between the members is their association with Climate Control and Environmental issues.

Where are the mechanical engineers that have oil field expertise and those that actually inspect the rigs. I would venture to say not a one of them have ever been on a rig. This commission is stacked with Bias. These people were appointed to advance a policy not safety.

The question is if this were an aircraft accident would you ground all air traffic for six months to investigate one accident? Also, would the NTSB send members of the “Fear of Flying Association” to investigate or would you send Aeronautical engineers and Pilots to investigate?

The following are the members of the Drilling Commission appointed by the Obama White House to investigate the accident and make recommendations.

Frances G. Beinecke is currently the President of the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), a non-profit corporation that works to advance environmental policy in the United States. Ms. Beinecke currently serves on the Board of the World Resources Institute and the steering committees of the U.S. Climate Action Partnership and the Energy Futures Coalition.

Donald Boesch is the President of the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science. Dr. Boesch is also Chair of the Ocean Studies Board of the National Research Council and a member of the National Academies Committee on America's Climate Choices.

Terry D. Garcia is currently Executive Vice President for Mission Programs for the National Geographic Society. He is responsible for the Society's core mission programs, including programs that support and manage more than 400 scientific field research, conservation and exploration projects annually.

Cherry A. Murray is currently the Past President of the American Physical Society.
Dr. Murray’s expertise is in condensed matter and materials physics, phase transitions, light scattering and surface physics, including the study of soft condensed matter and complex fluids.

Frances Ulmer Fran Ulmer is Chancellor of the University of Alaska Anchorage
Ms. Ulmer is a member of the Aspen Institute's Commission on Arctic Climate Change and holds Board positions with the Alaska Nature Conservancy, the National Parks Conservation Association and the Union of Concerned Scientists.

William K. Reilly one the co chairs of the commission is a past Administrator of the EPA. Mr Reilly has a law degree from Harvard, which in the Obama Regime qualifies you as a Supreme Bureaucrat able to address any subject with a mouth full of marbles.

Senator Bob Graham graduated from Harvard Law School, served in the Florida legislator, served as Florida Governor and on to State Senator. Sen. Graham has no experience with off shore drilling or it's intricacies. How many Senator or Lawyers for that matter have set foot on a Off Shore oil rig?

So, the President reaches into his Who's Who Book of Harvard to form another commission of Washington Bureaucrats to increase government control by tearing the fabric of this nation into shreds. Surely this commission if allowed would recommend the end to all offshore drilling and the end of 150,000 Gulf Coast jobs.
